"We had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Kellie 2024. My son was having difficulty studying in 10th grade. He is a bright child and essentially coasted in school for a while and thus never developed effective studying strategies. He also had some difficulty with focus. This deficit began to impact his grades in the 10th grade.
My husband and I taught him how we each individually studied but it was not clicking for him. Mrs. Kellie was kind enough to develop a study skills plan just for him. They had 10 lessons to address planner use, note taking, essay writing, research based project, test taking strategies, and many more topics. We had another meeting at a later date to go over college applications and scholarship points.
She was very patient, worked with him on his level, and seemed to reach him as to the long range benefits of these skills (difficult to do for his age group). Mrs. Kellie met with him after school for 10 weeks and was very affordable for the excellent level of teaching she provided.
We are so grateful for her help and guidance. She was such a blessing and my son really enjoyed her sessions. It was not laborious for him. She has stayed in touch with us and been so kind to help with my random questions that I thought of down the road!"
