Use Your Alabama CHOOSE Act Funds at Take Flight

Take Flight Tutoring & Coaching is an official CHOOSE Act Education Service Provider. That means Alabama families can use their education savings account (ESA) funds to pay for our tutoring services through ClassWallet.

What is the CHOOSE Act?

The CHOOSE Act (Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education Act) is Alabama’s education savings account program. It gives eligible families state funds, called ESAs, to spend on qualified education expenses: $7,000 per year for students enrolled in participating schools, or $2,000 per home-educated student (up to $4,000 per family).

ESA funds can only be spent with providers the state has approved, called Education Service Providers. Take Flight Tutoring & Coaching is an approved provider, and tutoring is a qualified expense. Families access and spend their funds through ClassWallet, the state’s official payment platform.

Pay with ESA Funds

Your award is managed in ClassWallet, and all payments happen there. We provide the invoice, you pay through the platform, and the state handles the rest.

Opening to All Families

Eligibility is income-based through the 2026-2027 school year. Starting in 2027-2028, every Alabama K-12 student is eligible, regardless of income.
